At KMCA, our aim is to provide support, guidance, and training to our pupil in becoming independent reciter of the Quran so they can worship Allah and gain reward and guidance by reading the book of Allah.
Our teaching program requires no background knowledge from the pupils. We Strat teaching from right from the beginning from alphabet. Our teachers are specialist in teaching Quran and have qualifications and Ijazah. Our teaching program includes teaching Quran with Tajweed (without formally introducing the Ahkaam/Rules of Tajweed to the pupils.
Regular practice and consistency are necessary in learning to recite Quran fluently and gain proficiency. One day of week may not be enough and additional practice at home is expected for which guidance and support is provided.
Our teaching program includes systematic spiral learning that develops students from alphabet learning to short and long words found in the Quran to reciting the Quran. Our aim is to develop students to recite The Quran independently with accuracy and fluency. We also help and support students to memorise short Surah from 30th Juz of the Quran. Every year-group has specific set of Surah to memorise.
At KMCA, our Quran classes are organised and sorted according to the ability of the students to provide good teaching and learning experience. Therefore, Hardworking, and high achieving students can progress according to their ability. Student can also progress to the next level during the year after successful assessment. Students are enrolled in their ability group after successful assessment.
· Pupils learn Capital | Full forms of the letters.
· For Reception class Power point lessons are made to teach Arabic Alphabets in different forms and shapes.
· Each lesson contains one or two letters along with the practice of previously learned letters.
· Children learn the shapes and pronunciations of the letters as well as writing them
· Letters are taught in different shapes as they appear in the Mushaf: as they appear at the beginning, middle, and end of the words.
· Memorisation of Surah Al-Fatihah
· Using Safar Learn to Read Series, Power point presentation are made to teach letters in different forms and shapes but more advance than the reception level.
· Each lesson contains set of letters having similar shapes along with the practice of previously learned letters.
· Children learn the shapes and pronunciations of the letters as well as writing them.
· Letters are taught in different shapes as they appear in the Mushaf: as they appear at the beginning, middle, and end of the words.
· Children learn all different forms in words and sentence forms that prepares them to recognise the letters instantly as they see it.
· Students also memorise some Short Surah
· Using Safar Learn to Read Series, Power point presentation are made to teach Harakaat and Tanween. Pupils use this book to learn their lessons. Recognition, Fluency with accuracy is the aim.
· Exercises with Harakaat and Tanween on three to four letters words are taught.
· Letters are taught with their correct Makharij and Sifaat.· Students also memorise some Short Surah
· Using Safar Learn to Read Series, Power point presentation are made to teach Hurooful Madd & Leen. Pupils use this book to learn their lessons. Recognition, Fluency with accuracy is the aim.
· Exercises with Hurooful Madd & Leen on three to four letters words are taught.· Letters are taught with their correct Makharij and Sifaat.
· Long Fathah, Long Kasrah and Long Dhammah that represent none-written Hurooful Madd
· Students also memorise some Short Surah
· Using Safar Learn to Read Series students learn Sukoon, Shaddah, Madd and Silent letters.
· Pupils use this book to learn their lessons. Recognition, Fluency with accuracy is the aim.
· Exercises with Sukoon on three to four letters words are taught.
· Exercises with Shaddah on three to four letters words are taught.
· Exercises with Madd on three to four letters words are taught.
· Madd Muttasil & Munfasil are taught.
· Letters are taught with their correct Makharij and Sifaat.
· Hurooful Muqattaat
· Students also memorise some Short Surah
· Students learn how to use their skills of previous years and combine to read the Quran
· Students learn to read few words together and read together fluently with Tajweed.
· Students learn to read short verses.
· Students learn to stop on Harakaat, Tanween and Letter of Madd.
· Students learn to pause on double Fathah and Taa Marbootah
· Students learn symbols of Waqf/stops and how to stop at the end of the verse or the middle of the verse and how to restart.
· Students memorise some surah of the last Juz
Students begin to read from the Mushaf. At this level students learn From Surah Layl to Surah Naba. That’s just over 2nd half of the 30th Juz of the Quran.
Fluency and accuracy is the aim of learning.
Students continue to memorise Surah
Students begin to read from the Mushaf. Students learn independent reading from the Mushaf. They begin to read from Surah AL-Baqarah and progress according to their ability.
Emphasis is placed on Accuracy and fluency and reading with Tajweed.
